ATHENS: Greece’s central bank said yesterday it decided this summer to postpone bank stress tests planned for autumn because they would fall too close to EU-wide tests conducted in July and likely add no new information.
“The decision to postpone was taken in the summer, well before the decision of the government to participate in the roadshow and the recent announcement of intended corporate actions,” the Bank of Greece said in a statement.
