PETALING JAYA: Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) strongly urges the Government to register and regulate all small contractors under the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) with the requisite local equity and other relevant conditions before they are allowed to be sub-contractors and renovation contractors.
In a statement, MBAM said it hoped that all Government ministries and agencies including local councils or authorities would comply with this mandatory requirement before approving projects including renovation works.
