Deleum Q2 net profit plunges 50% on decreased activities


PETALING JAYA: Deleum Bhd’s net profit for its second quarter ended June 30 plunged almost 50% to RM4.12mil from RM8.15mil a year earlier due to its lower activities level as well as approved gratuity payments to executive directors following their retirement.

Revenue for the period declined to RM82.89mil from RM107.09milin the previous corresponding period mainly due to lower project and service activities due to deferment, it told Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
