PETALING JAYA: Local palm oil inventory fell to a one-year low in July driven by export-led demand from India, China and Pakistan which have been stocking for the current fasting month of Ramadhan and the Eid festival in September.
The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) in releasing its latest statistics yesterday said palm oil stocks fell to 1.40 million tonnes in July compared with 1.45 million tonnes in June.
