PETALING JAYA: Stock markets in the region were drowned in a sea of red yesterday as investors took profits from the recent rally on worries about US economic recovery while official data showed that growth in China would cool down in the coming months.
Investor sentiment in China’s bourses were hit yesterday by a lacklustre start by Agricultural Bank of China following its massive US$19bil share sale. The stock ended its first day up by just 0.75% above its offer price.
