Candidates for PPB board withdrawn


PETALING JAYA: Three shareholders of Petra Perdana Bhd (PPB), who are linked to the ousted directors of the company at an EGM on Feb 4, had withdrawn their candidates to be nominated to the board ahead of the group’s shareholders meeting on July 20.

“The company has received three letters dated July 14 from Datin Che Nariza Hajjar Hashim, Nik Ismail Tengku Besar Indra Raja and Ramilah Joannah Sulaiman to withdraw the nominations of Datuk Syed Norulzaman Syed Kamarulzaman, Datuk Shaik Sulaiman S. Mohamed Ismail and Suhaimi Badrul Jamil respectively,” PPB told the exchange yesterday.
