ABUJA, NIGERIA: Various bilateral trade initiatives taken by the D-8 group have boosted trade between Malaysia and fellow member states, with total trade volume growing by more than 16-fold between 1990 and 2009, said the Foreign Affairs Ministry in a statement.
The D-8 group comprises eight Muslim developing nations – Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.
