KUALA LUMPUR: Qualitative auditing is critical in determining market confidence, according to Audit Oversight Board executive chairman Nik Mohd Hasyudeen Yusoff.
“High quality and reliable audited financial statement is one of the important elements in a capital market,” he said in his keynote address at the forum on “Attaining Audit Quality for Public Interest Entities” yesterday, which was organised by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants in partnership with the Securities Commission.
