KUALA LUMPUR: The Financial Institutions Directors’ Education (Fide) has come out with a framework to enhance the link between financial institutions (FIs) board of directors performance and their remuneration.
This is because the current remuneration practice is based on peer group benchmarking where it does not differentiate and consider the extent of risk and responsibilities assumed and do not include performance measurement.
