PETALING JAYA: Genting Malaysia Bhd
’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Genting New York LLC (Genting NY), submitted a US$1mil entry fee to the New York Lottery on June 1.
It told Bursa Malaysia the payment allowed Genting NY to participate in the bidding process to develop and operate a video lottery facility at Aqueduct Racetrack in New York city. Genting NY, which is currently evaluating the project, has until June 29 to decide if it wishes to formally submit a bid.
