THE thoughts for this week’s column were formed as I looked out the window of the ATR 72 twin-turboprop plane flying me and my wife from Subang to Pulau Langkawi.
The plane climbed to its cruising height of 6,000 metres, slightly above the cloud line, and as the weather was clear, I had a clear view of the landscape below.
