MANAMA: The conclusion of the stalled Doha Round free trade talks is “vitally needed” in the wake of the global financial crisis to revitalise world economy, World Trade Organisation (WTO) chief Pascal Lamy said.
“The Doha Round at this moment of the crisis exiting is a vitally needed and, to be frank, a very low-cost global economic stimulus package,” Lamy told participants at the Bahrain Global Forum yesterday.
