PETALING JAYA: Conglomerate Berjaya Corp
Bhd has proposed to acquire a 70% stake in Ascot Sports Sdn Bhd, a company owned by Tan Sri Vincent Tan, for RM525mil cash.
Tan is also chairman, chief executive officer and largest shareholder of Berjaya Corp by virtue of a 45.59% direct stake.
