KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian investors’ confidence rose seven points to 146 in the first quarter of this year from 139 in the fourth quarter of 2009, affirming the country’s position in “optimistic” territory.
ING’s quarterly ING Investment Dashboard Survey revealed that 66% of investors believed the announcement of the New Economic Model and the upcoming 10th Malaysia Plan and initiatives to attract foreign investors would have a positive impact on perception towards Malaysia.
