Good start for DMA equity

KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Investment Bank Bhd, the first local broker to offer investors to place buy and sell orders directly on Bursa Malaysia via its Direct Market Access gateway for the equities market (DMA equity), has secured 10 foreign institutional clients.

DMA equity, which the bank had been testing for the past three months, would soon be available to its retail clients as well, head of dealing Azura Azman said at a briefing yesterday. Currently, foreign clients can trade directly on Bursa Malaysia via its DMA equity.
