KUALA LUMPUR: Asian markets slumped for the seventh day - the longest losing streak in two years - at midday on worries about China.
Most major Asian markets fell some 1% to 2% on mounting concerns that China may increase measures to slow its economic growth as well as forecasts of declining company profits.
