ON the day the BFM radio station turned one last September, head honcho Malek Ali had to publicly explain why he kept moisturiser on his desk.

It all began when he was interviewed on air as part of BFM’s anniversary switch; it featured its own people on some of the shows, instead of guests. Malek’s turn on the hot seat came during the Breakfast Grille segment in the morning.
