ONE thing is certain about 2010 – change. Having just returned from a quick trip to the United States, Japan, the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong, I sense increasingly encouraging signs that the world economy is recovering. The rebound is, however, uneven.
The latest OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) indicators point to stronger-than-expected growth of activity in France, Italy, Australia and Britain.
