KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd on Wednesday became the first communications company in Malaysia to deploy High-Speed Packet Access+ (HSPA+) technology for its wireless broadband service.
The incorporation of this next-generation data transmission capability into Maxis’ existing 3G network will enable subscribers surfing the Internet in selected areas in the Klang Valley and Johor Baharu to experience significant improvement in download speeds.
