PETALING JAYA: Top Glove Corp Bhd’s net profit surged 90.9% to RM65.2mil for the first quarter ended Nov 30, from RM34.1mil a year ago, mainly due to good cost control, management efficiency and stronger demand.
“In view of the strong profit growth for the first quarter, the group is optimistic of its future outlook despite ongoing global economic challenges,” chairman Tan Sri Lim Wee Chai said in a statement.
