Govt unveils business stimulus package for SMEs

KUALA LUMPUR: Local businesses will be able to harness the cost-effectiveness and reach of the Internet to access a wider market and increase sales with the launch of the SME (small and medium-scale enterprises) Business Stimulus Package.

According to International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) secretary-general Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat, the current economic situation warrants that Malaysian SMEs enhance their capabilities and try new ways to find more customers locally and overseas through the Internet.
