THE wisecracks and put-downs about Malaysia’s Formula One (F1) ambition are coming out faster than a pole sitter speeding off when the red lights are extinguished.
It’s a typical response here. Maybe we are a nation of cynics. It’s also possible that we are somewhat lacking in self-belief. Perhaps the spirit of Malaysia Boleh has been battered to the point that we just can’t muster enough optimism to trust that we, as a country, can do great things.
