PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s consumer price index (CPI), the measure of the country’s inflation, declined 2.4% year-on-year in July, in line with economists’ consensus estimates.
The decline was due to the high base effect from last year’s fuel price hike, the Statistics Department said yesterday.
