KUALA LUMPUR: Local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have been urged to be more creative and innovative, and adopt branding initiatives in order to survive and compete effectively in the rapidly changing international business environment.
SMI Association of Malaysia national president Chua Tiam Wee said although the association had carried out programmes to assist the development of the SME sector, SMEs must be ready to change their mindset and value system, or else they would not be going anywhere.
