KUALA LUMPUR: Motor company MBM Resources Bhd is expected to fare significantly better in the second half of 2009 driven primarily by healthy automotive sales as the global economic crisis abates.
MBM reported a net profit for its second quarter ended June 30 at RM13.9mil, bringing the total net income for the first half to RM23.3mil. This was in line with the forecast by HwangDBS Vickers Research which expected an improved outlook for the company in the second half.
