KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd (Bank Rakyat) posted a 27.2% increase in profit before tax and zakat to RM337.5mil in the second quarter ended June 30 compared with a year earlier.
Its profit before tax and zakat for the half year jumped 29.6% to RM668.5mil owing to increases in net income and fee-based income, said managing director Datuk Kamaruzaman Che Mat.
