SO it is decided – the teaching of Mathematics and Science will revert to Bahasa Malaysia (BM) in 2012 while more time will be allocated to the teaching of English starting from pre-school.

Why are we taking a few steps backwards in attempting to move forward? Are we to believe that if there are not enough teachers to teach English competently in technical subjects such as Maths and Science, there will be enough teachers to teach more of the language in the other subjects?
