KUALA LUMPUR: More chartered secretaries are needed to meet an expected rise in demand by corporates in view of the liberalisation measures announced by the Government recently, according to the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (Maicsa).
“It’s very dramatic to say that the corporates are in dire need of secretaries but there is definitely a shortage,” Maicsa president Janet Ang said after launching the Maicsa annual conference 2009, themed Shaping the Future Corporate Professional, yesterday.
