Selangor still in talks with Splash, Syabas

PETALING JAYA: The Selangor government is still negotiating with Syarikat Pengeluar Air Selangor Bhd (Splash) and Syarikat Bekalan Air Sdn Bhd (Syabas) to take over their respective water assets and related operations under the state’s water restructuring exercise.

“The state government is in the midst of resolving an outstanding issue on sub-contracts with Splash, whilst Syabas is awaiting the formal blessing of the Federal Government to respond to the state’s offer,” said Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim in a statement yesterday.
