SINGAPORE: Singapore’s non-oil exports are expected to rise slightly in May from the previous month on a seasonally adjusted basis, after a fall in April, thanks to a surge in volatile drug production.
Analysts in a Reuters survey forecast non-oil exports rose in May by a seasonally adjusted 1.8% from the previous month, compared with April’s 1.3% fall, though they warned it was too early to say if a recovery in shipments could be sustained.
