Lacklustre trading regionally; spooked by North Korea


KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI), along with its regional peers, saw lacklustre trading today as investors stayed on the sidelines, spooked by North Korea’s missile testing yesterday.

At 9.38am, the KLCI was marginally up by 3.05 points at 1,056.2. Gainers outnumbered losers 201 to 104 while 142 counters were unchanged. Nikkei 225 was down 0.85%, Kospi lost 1.49%, the Straits Times Index fell 0.38% while Hang Seng Index was up 0.35% and Taiwan Taipex Exchange Index rose 1.06%.
