KUALA LUMPUR: Local banks are equipped with reasonable measures to combat financial crimes and terrorism financing but more must be done during these turbulent times.
“Times are bad and people look for easy money. Local banks should continuously invest to build up good systems that will be able to respond to threats and risks swiftly,” said Jay Jhaveri, director in Asia for World-Check.
