PETALING JAYA: The outlook for the country’s exports continues to be bleak, at least until the third quarter when it may register a slight growth, as battered economies around the world start to pick up the pieces from the worst recession since the 1930s.
The Statistics Department is set to release the preliminary figures for February’s external trade, which will again show a contraction, but the most important question is how severe the contraction would be.
