PETALING JAYA: The 3% reduction in EPF contributions, and other pump priming measures, are not expected to boost retail sales due to the weak consumer sentiment, said independent retail research firm Retail Group Malaysia.
In line with its view, the research outfit has cut its retail sales growth forecast to 5% from 8% for 2009.
