KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Energy Bhd subsidiary Sarawak Power Generation Sdn Bhd has signed an energy conversion/lease agreement with Forward Energy Sdn Bhd.
Under the agreement, Forward Energy has been given a 25-year concession on a lease basis for the conversion of gas into electricity through the echo black box (EBB) technology. The EBB is an ultra advance solid oxide fuel cell technology integrated with thermo photo voltaic system at Miri and/or Bintulu facility to produce and deliver a total nominal capacity of 150 MW of electrical energy.
