PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Idris Jala, Malaysia Airline (MAS) managing director and chief executive officer, has been named Orient Aviation Person of the Year 2008 for being the driving force behind the national carrier’s turnaround miracle.
One of the most respected aviation magazines in the Asia Pacific region, Orient Aviation presented yearly the Person of the Year award to the airline chief executive based on his job in the previous 12 months.
