PETALNG JAYA: JT International Bhd (JTI) has recorded flattish earnings of RM29mil, or 11.1 sen per share, for its third quarter ended Sept 30 on increased spending for marketing and operating activities.

For the quarter under review, revenue rose 15.6% to RM271.3mil against RM234.6mil in the previous corresponding period, attributed mainly to higher cigarette prices, improved sales and market share, it said in a statement yesterday.
