MADRID, Spain (AP) - A second half goal from Pablo Piatti gave Almeria a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid on Sunday, denying the Spanish champion a chance to join Barcelona atop the Spanish league.
Barcelona leads with 22 points, one more than Villarreal. Madrid joined Valencia on 20 points.
