KUALA LUMPUR: The value of stocks listed on Bursa Malaysia fell RM120bil in October, with the KL Composite Index (KLCI) down 15% for the month. It was the benchmark’s worst monthly performance since August 1998.
“I don’t think long-term investors are rushing into the market at these levels,’’ a head of research at a local investment bank said. “The market volatility is too much to stomach.’’
