PETALING JAYA: The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) opened stronger Tuesday morning with gains in tandem with Wall Street’s overnight rise and regional bourses’ performances.
At 10am, the KLCI rose 8.25 points, or 0.9%, at 917.76 points with gainers outnumbering losers 236 to 98 while 125 counters were unchanged. About 124.6 million shares were traded, valued at RM203.4mil.
