KUALA LUMPUR: Shares on Bursa Malaysia fell for a third day, as fresh downgrades by analysts on major companies and key economic sectors turned off investors’ already weak appetite for equities.
Most stock markets in Asia, except those in Japan, Shanghai and New Zealand, ended lower yesterday. In Japan, the the Nikkei 225 rose 2.8% as Japanese investors tracked the Dow’s 4.7% jump overnight.
