PETALING JAYA: Malayan Banking Bhd’s (Maybank) shares fell to RM6.60, its lowest in five years, as its revised acquisition price for PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk (BII) failed to lift market sentiment.
Investors were concerned that the new deal would still has an impact on Maybank’s fundamental health, given that the revised acquisition price was still high.
