PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara's decision last Friday to hold interest rates steady has resulted in a two-pronged impact with the stock market rallying and the ringgit weakening.
The benchmark KL Composite Index (KLCI) yesterday ended up 12.34 points, or 1.08%, at 1,154.09 on strong volume of 229 million shares.
