PETALING JAYA: UMW Holdings Bhd
has pledged RM290,000 this year to assist 1,600 students from four schools around the country in improving their academic achievement under the UMW PINTAR programme.
UMW adopted Sekolah Kebangsaan Pulau Mertajam in Kepala Batas and Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Rusa in Balik Pulau last year, and has added Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampong Laut in Palekbang, Kelantan and Sekolah Kebangsaan Padang Gajah, in Trong, Perak.
