Interest continues in plantations, Transmile up


KUALA LUMPUR: The breadth of the market was lacklustre in early trade Tuesday despite some continued interest in plantations while Transmile rose ahead of its EGM on Wednesday to secure shareholders’ approval for its debt settlement plans.

At 10am, the KLCI was up just up 0.27 of a point to 1,238.33. Turnover was 50 million shares valued at RM77.88mil. There were 93 gainers, 138 losers and 129 counters unchanged.
