PETALING JAYA: Petronas Gas Bhd and Yayasan Sabah will explore the possibility of developing a 300 MW gas power plant in Kimanis, District of Papar, Sabah.
In a statement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Petronas Gas said the planned power plant would capitalise on the availability of gas resulting from the development of Sabah Sarawak Integrated Oil and Gas Projects, as well as to meet the growing demand for power in Sabah.
