KUALA LUMPUR: The high level of increases in fuel and electricity under the subsidies restructuring exercise would wipe out companies’ profits in most sectors, says the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM).
It said Friday the recent hike in petrol prices, coupled with the increases in prices of natural gas and electricity will have tremendous and adverse impact on manufacturing costs as well as on the overall economy.
