UMW Toyota to sell Islamic notes


KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Toyota Capital Sdn Bhd (UMWTC), a subsidiary of Toyota Financial Services Corp, has launched its seven-year RM1bil Islamic commercial Papers (ICP) and medium-term notes (IMTN) programme.

UMWTC said in a statement the ICP was guaranteed by Toyota Motor Finance (Netherlands) BV and had been assigned a rating of P-1 by RAM Rating Services Bhd. The IMTN had been given a rating of AAA by RAM.
