PETALING JAYA: The Government's proposal to require the usage of higher-octane fuel in a bid to reduce its fuel subsidies is unlikely to affect luxury carmakers, say industry representatives and analysts.
The proposal is to replace the existing octane ratings of RON 92 and RON 97 petrol with RON 95 and RON 99 respectively.
