Octagon buys rest of tyre waste firm

PETALING JAYA: Octagon Consolidated Bhd has proposed to acquire the remaining 49% stake in Advanced Pyrotech Sdn Bhd, which is involved in research and development for tyre waste management, for RM27.5mil.

The company told Bursa Malaysia yesterday it was acquiring the stake from KK Incinerator Engineering and Construction (M) Sdn Bhd. Currently, Octagon holds a 51% stake in Advanced Pyrotech.
